"Atlas of dermatoscopy", published by A.A. Marguba, H. Malvea and R.P. Brown, became the result of the collective work of a number of leading specialists in the field of international dermatoscopy, withstood the reprint and was translated into Russian for the first time.
Atlas is clearly structured - it begins with fundamental sections that explain the physical principles of dermatoscopy, equipment features and correlation of dermatoscopic Signs and pathohystological characteristics and introduces the reader to the basic principles of differential diagnosis of malignant and benign neoplasms in accordance with a two -stage algorithm. Further, the most common non -neminocytic neoplasms, various types of melanocytic nevus, melanomas and methods of their differentiation are examined in detail. Separately, it should be noted very interesting sections devoted to the characteristics of the dermatoscopic structure of neoplasms in different anatomical zones, equivocal (double -digit) neoplasms of the skin, exceptions to the dual -stage diagnostic algorithm, the use of dermatoscopy in general dermatology and observation of neoplasms in dynamics.
