Attack in the chess party. Volume 2. Ogard Ya.
Three -volume Grandmaster Jacob Ogard is a fundamental textbook on the most vivid and interesting phase of the chess party - attack. Most of the books about the attack are taught only what should be done when it has already begun. They tell mainly about the victims. This work also does not bypass the victims, but in addition, it analyzes in detail a more mysterious, little revealed topic: the question of how the attack arises in detail. The second volume is dedicated to the construction of matte designs, as well as the typical techniques of the game of figures and pawns in the attack. Each chapter is preceded by tasks for independent solutions, some of them are also recommended to be played against the computer program. The book uses many recent parties, and parties relatively not known to the Russian -speaking reader. Jacob Ogard is not only a grandmaster and a teacher, but also a born writer, a juicy language and a fascinating presentation of the material is an important component of his books.
