AUE: Criminalization of youth and moral panic. Gromov D.V.
In August 2020, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation recognized the movement known in the media under the name "AUE", an extremist organization. In recent years, with this mysterious abbreviation, which can be deciphered, for example, as a “prisoner’s way” or “prison criminal unity”, various information processes have been connected - it was they who became the subject of the study of anthropologist Dmitry Gromov. In his book, the scientist sets the task to show the mechanisms with which the Aue's phenomenon has become such a noticeable media event.
