Awakening, Etwood M.
A group of friends goes to the dense Canadian hinterland, to a hut on the lake, where the parents of the nameless main character used to live. Not so long ago, her father disappeared, who had lived a hermit for many years, and she should return to the past in order to unravel the secret of his mysterious disappearance. The woman is breaking in herself a forgotten injury, which now and then pops up to the surface. Day after day, she plunges deeper into the memories of childhood in this place. It literally merges with nature and is fenced off from flickering, meaninglessly cruel people who gradually begin to be like in her imagination on plastic mannequins, on Androids. The alienation follows the approaching madness... But maybe only through madness and it is possible to awaken to begin real life.
