The wonderful Russian writer-Frontovik Grigory Ilyich Miroshnichenko (1904-1985), a hereditary Cossack, considered the epic trilogy to the glorious defenders of the southern borders of the Fatherland in the far of the 17th century. Unfortunately, the writer did not have time to finish his work, the third book remained unfinished. The second novel of the trilogy - Azov’s Siege - is dedicated to the famous “Azov seat” in 1641, when for almost four months the Turkish fleet besieged the Azov fortress, but could not capture it.
