My book “Bad Mother” was published ten years ago. I began to write her two weeks after the birth of my daughter. I needed to throw out the sudden awareness on paper - we are all afraid to be bad parents at certain moments. And she is again about responsibility - already a subsidiary or sons - to her own parents. About unspoken grievances, an acute desire to become closer, more dear. And, of course, about the most important feeling - the child’s love for the mother.
