Barberry Tunberg Redzhey is a thorny shrub, the maximum height of which is 0.8 meters and the diameter is about 1.2 meters. The crown is compact, thick. The shoots are covered with spikes and curved in an arc. Young shoots are bright red, mature by a few tones darker. One of the most beautiful varieties of barberry.

flowering period falls on May - early June. The flowers are small, yellow inside and red. Usually they are assembled in bootable inflorescences, but can be single.

red -shaped berries. Ripening occurs in September. The berries remain on the branches and after the foliage falls, and sometimes hold on all winter. Not suitable for eating.
