Most often, Goldalita barbaris is used to design rockers, mountaineering and rocky gardens. From it you can form living hedges - of course, symbolic. In addition, Goldalite grows well in containers.

Barbaris is photophilous, but grow well in partial shade, although there are several features. In order to get the rich color of purple leaves, grow them in the full sun, in those bushes that grow in partial shade, in purple color of the leaves, there is clearly green color. Barberry care consists in watering (once a week), loosening and weeds. Pruning the bush involves the removal of weak, poorly developed shoots. The forming pruning of the hedge is carried out from the second year after planting, while it is recommended to remove from 1/3 to 2/3 of the length of the shoots. Adult bushes are cut twice a season: at the beginning and at the end of summer.
