The city bathhouse in Tyumen is a unique example of the vanguard architecture recognized around the world as the most important contribution of Russia to world culture. The authors of the project are A.S. Ladinsky, A.S. Nikolsky. The prototype of the bathhouse in Tyumen was the famous project “Round Bath” by A.S. Nikolsky, implemented in a simplified version in Lesnoy on the Square of Courage (Leningrad). The book tells about the history of the building of the Tyumen bath - its constructive solution, the history of construction and life until today. The publication is intended to draw attention to the object today and contribute to the preservation of it as a significant structure of historical and cultural significance.
