Battle flower. Liberi F., Delly
For the first time in Russian, the commented translation by Flos Duellatorum is published - one of the earliest treatises dedicated to the martial art of the Credechean Europe. The manuscript is preceded by an essay telling about its author, the master of fencing Fior from the premariakko, who lived at the end of the XIV century, his fate and era, weapons and methods of training soldiers. Fioror not only described the techniques he knew, but also compiled a methodology and a scheme for the art of battle - from a struggle without weapons to a fight. His work allows not only to make an idea of how the warriors of the Middle Ages acted, but also to use the book as a manual for classes by historical fencing and reconstruction of European martial arts.
