In the second novel of the Melissa trilogy, her heroine Fabyen finally finds out the reason for her oddities, which have distinguished her from the rest of the people since childhood. The diagnosis of “autism” puts everything in its place and allows Fabien to better understand herself: she realizes that in her unusual behavior there is nothing terrible, and accepts herself with all the features.

After the death of her mother, she inherits the house by the river, and her life makes an unpredictable turn, rushing into a new direction. The river seems to attract happiness to the fate of Fabena and gives hope for the future, about which she, who had lived in captivity of anxiety and numerous fears, could not even dream.
