A simple hired worker, a lover of women who has just left prison with a vague desire to live honestly and without problems. And here he is again at large, in Berlin. Around some kind of whirlwind to him: communists, fascists, bandits, Jews, police... It is difficult to find earnings. Our hero is looking closely at everything, adapts, again looking for a place under the sun. Among other things, he makes an acquaintance with a certain Reinhold and takes part in one deal of fruit merchant - and Franz fate again makes a cool turn...
novel, cinematic, in its essence, was filmed several times. The worldwide of the director of Rainer Werner Fasbinder (1980) was received by the worldwide recognition.
