obliged to literary fame of the translations of Italian poetry, Evgeny Solonovich publishes his own poems on the pages of the magazines “October”, “Friendship of Peoples” and “New World”. His merits as a translator were marked, in particular, prizes “Master”, “Crown”, “Book of the Year”, an honorary diploma of the Anthologia Award, as well as a number of prestigious foreign prizes, including the Italian State Prize. “Between today and once”-the first book with which Evgeny Solonovich acts as an original poet.
