Bishop of Mikhail (Matvey Ivanovich Lusin; 1830-1887)-Bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church, spiritual writer and theologian. In his lectures, revised and prepared for printing by Nikolai Trotsky, Bishop Mikhail told about the initial gospel events, the birth and baptism of Christ, about the history of his temptation, and also conveyed the most reliable birthplace of the Messiah, taken from the gospels of the Holy Matthew and Luke.
