Edward Lear (1812–1888) - classic of English literature of the absurd of the XIX century. The current publication almost completely included the four main “Nonsens Books” (nonsense, nonsense), published during his lifetime. They include nonsense of different genres: stupid rhymes (Limeric), stupid botanist, stupid cooking, stupid alphabet and so on. Moreover, the “Big Book of Nonsens” includes a number of poems published posthumously.
