the novel “Big Hopes” is one of the latest works by the author. He tells of the life of a young man the name Philip Pirrip, who was nicknamed Pip in childhood. Being another simple boy, he falls in love with the beautiful Estell, but she only plays with him. But suddenly someone, who wished to remain an unknown, donates a large amount for the content of the Pip. Will he be able to become a real gentleman and win the heart of his lover? And most importantly, will his great hopes be destroyed when he finds out who is his benefactor?
