Fritz Roiter Leiber Jr., who was born in a family of actors-emigrants from Germany, became one of the brightest stars of the Golden Age of Fantasy. The literary heritage of Leiber was awarded six Nazyula prizes, four Hugo, three World Fantasy Prizes and many other honorary awards. According to the results of his work, he received the title “Grand Master of Fantasy.” The works of Howard Lovecraft had a huge impact on him, from whom he learned enthusiastically and whose work he popularized in the most active way.
This book contains his best supernatural stories, including Lovecraft. The novel “Witch”, awarded the Hugo Award and considered a classic of mysticism, was filmed several times.
Most of the works included in the collection are published in Russian for the first time.
