The name of her new novel refers to Baudler's “half -day song” - “Black Siberia” the poet calls the state of depression, melancholy. The hero of Roman Sinitskaya, French volunteer Gaston Musabier, runs from his existential longing to the southeast of Ukraine, where he tries to find the meaning of life in the zone of military operations and break out of the painful embrace of mental illness called “Black Siberia.”
