The great Russian artist Kazimir Malevich is one of the key figures of the domestic avant -garde, the founder of Suprematism, the theorist of art, the philosopher and the teacher. He devoted his whole life to the search and creation of a unique direction of painting, reflecting his philosophical theory, the idea of ​​the universe and art. His concept passed several stages of its development: impressionism - neopimitivism - cubofuturism - Suprematism. The last direction - Suprematism - was developed directly by Casimir Malevich, and the most famous picture of the artist “Black Square”, which to this day is the subject for disputes, became his picturesque manifesto. By 1920, a group of devoted students had developed around Casimir Malevich-UNOVS (approving new art) who adhered to the same artistic and philosophical views as their teacher.

The book included articles of different years, as well as two major works The artist is “Suprematism. The world is like indescribability, or eternal peace ”and“ From a book about infestity ”, illustrating his philosophical and creative principles. The new art, according to Casimir Malevich, is associated with the transition “to a new picturesque realism, lawless creativity”, according to which the master should not copy nature, but create his own artistic worlds.
