The book covers the problems of providing outpatient care to patients with diseases of the blood system, which is especially relevant in the framework of the national project "Healthcare", devoted to improving the quality and accessibility of primary medical care. General issues of hematology are expanded: the concept of a blood and hematopoiesis system, the functional properties of blood cells, the features of questioning, examination, and examination methods of hematological patients. Recommendations for outpatient care of patients suffering from hematological diseases are especially important in conditions of coronavirus pandemic, which is associated with a significant decrease in immunity parameters in such patients. Color photographs with the image of peripheral blood and bone marrow cells are added to the new publication of the leadership, in normal and various diseases. A table is given with regulatory indicators of a general blood test obtained using modern hematological analyzers. The leadership reflects the most recent data on the complex functioning of the hemostasis system, its platelet-vascular, plasma links, fibrinolysis and methods of studying. When considering each pathology, the early, initial criteria of the disease are emphasized, which is important in the practical work of the doctor. The modern principles of differential diagnosis and treatment of hematological diseases are described in detail. For each pathology, a list of mandatory and additional methods is presented with the determination of indications for additional research. Medicines used in treatment are given in tables indicating the international unheated name, purpose frequency and necessary doses. A separate chapter is devoted to complications of cytostatic therapy, which will expand the idea of ​​doctors about the problems of a hematological patient and ways to prevent undesirable chemotherapy effects.
