Blue truck. Shertl A.
Lines of the poem, reminiscent of folklore motives, introduce readers with a blue truck and inhabitants of the cattle yard, which he meets while traveling along country roads past his rural house. The first half of the book is charming, which leads to the numbness of the symphony of the signals of the machine and animal sounds.
The cheerful text imitates a jumping truck, and warm illustrations in a folk style complement the picture. The rain begins, and a vile, pompous dump truck enters history. When the dump truck hit the mud and sign it for help, no one hears it. The blue truck wants to help, but also gets stuck. And when he screams for help, animals run to his rescue. So the dump truck finds out that:
“You helped me,
Friends to you.
We can’t do without friends
. ”
This is a funny, noisy story that will find a place in every home library.
