Liberty variety is a bright novelty of culture, bred relatively recently. The ancestors were high -speed varieties of Brigitta Blue (Eliott Brigitta Blue). The variety received as a result of crossing was called Liberty.

Liberty refers to tall, dessert varieties, universal purposes. It is considered commercial, since the fruits with strong skin and dense flesh, they differ in good leaf and perfectly tolerate transportation without losing their product qualities.

In height, an adult plant reaches 1.5 m, having a lush crown up to 1.2 m in diameter. The bush has an intense growth force. Hard, powerful, slightly sprawling branches are covered with foliage of intense green color. Smooth sheet plate is quite wide, has an elliptical shape, taps to the end.

The root system is superficial, upper and fibrous, which is characteristic of all varieties of culture.

Liberty blueberries have an intense sky blue color with a brightly exposed white waxy raid. The rounded berries are slightly flattened, differ in a strong, elastic skin and dense pulp. The weight of each berry ranges from 1.5 g to 2.1 g. The taste is sweet and sour, with a bright blue aroma.

The fruits are collected in large clusters of medium density. The size of the hands reaches 11-13 cm in length and 14-18 cm in width. The berries have a dry gap and are easily separated from the clusters, which allows them to mechanize their collection.
