Book of songs. Heine G.
The great “Book of Songs” by Heinrich Heine (1797–1856) was first published in Hamburg in 1827 and immediately nominated the author into a number of the most significant German poets. The through theme of this collection is love, unhappy and happy, but Heine had a traditional lyrical theme very fresh: his poetic gift allowed to find new unexpected intonations-reduced, satirical or everyday-case. These innovations undoubtedly influenced Russian literature.
Heine, not only professionals-translators shifted into Russian, but also outstanding poets (A. Blok, M. Lermontov, I. Annensky, A. Fet and others).
“Book of Songs” is offered to the reader’s attention in the form in the form that the poet conceived it, without abbreviations and bills.
