Boyar Morozova. Dmitriev D.S., Severstsev-Polilov G.T.
This book presents two works of the same name by D. Dmitriev (1848 - 1915) and G. Seversv - Polilov (1859 - 1915), dedicated to one of the widely known Russian women who left a mark in the history of their state. Feodosia Prokofievna Morozova (1632-1675) is the leader of the Russian schism, the associate of Protopop Avvakum, the boyar who became the embodiment of fearlessness and stubbornness, a fighter for his principles and ideals. The attitude towards her is ambiguous, some consider it an ordinary fanatic, ready to give life for the sake of their religious beliefs, others are respected with her stamina and unshakability in matters of faith. One way or another, but interest in this legendary personality does not fade over the course of several centuries.
