Boys and others. Garichev D.
Dmitry Garichev managed to find a special expressiveness for describing the life world of heroes, whose youth came in the 1990-2010s. They exist as if inside a multidimensional painful imagination, which, however, is less cruel than the emerging reality of today's empty time. The story “Boys” opening the book tells about a kind of philosophical experiment - a strange “republic”, which is in a state of eternal simulative war, which, of course, is guessed by real military operations. Following the hero, musician Nikita, the reader watches as a historical and political game generated by the imagination of intellectuals, leads to a brutal denouement.
The book also included the continuing line of the story of the cycle “Tales for Dead Children” and several separate stories, whose heroes are united by fear of an incomprehensible world for them. Its embodiment is easily guessed by the topos near Moscow, playing the role of purgatory, where the choice between sleep and reality, good and evil, the past and present is almost impossible.
Dmitry Garichev - poet, prose writer, laureate of the Andrei Bely Prize and the Moscow Account Prize, author of the book Lakinsk Project, published in UFO.
