This textbook was prepared in accordance with the program "Master of Law in the Sphere of Intellectual Property" of the Department of Intellectual Rights of the University named after O. E. Kutafina (MGUA). The author examines the main strategies, methods, legal mechanisms sewn the brand. Significant attention is paid to the means of suppressing parasitization on someone else's brand, mechanisms for obtaining rights to someone else's brand, as well as defensive strategies of copyright holders against competitors seeking to deprive them of the legal protection brand. The material is presented on the basis of current legislation, with a wide involvement of law enforcement practice. The textbook was prepared taking into account new legal trends using a modern methodology: a comparative legal method, economic analysis of law, institutional approach, etc.
