Strands - a poor, but friendly family. Allen, the head of the family, a worthy job, a beautiful wife, smart and compassionate children. They live quietly and measuredly until a stranger who was a victim of an attack appears on their threshold. Strands have no idea that this person is Russell Hayzen, a rich lawyer with Wall Street. As a gratitude, Hayzen shows the stricts with gifts and money. But, as you know, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. With each acquisition, the Strends lose their part of themselves and soon begin to forget that it really has value...
