Charles Bukovsky is one of the largest American writers of the twentieth century, the author of more than forty books, including novels, poems, essays and stories. Despite the sometimes shocking naturalism, its texts are full of lyricalness, even a kind of sentimentality. "Bread with ham" is the most soulful Roman Bukovsky.
