Calabrian robbers. Dumas A.
The next volume of the illustrated collected works of Alexander Dumas includes another action -packed story about the morals of the country's inhabitants in the "sock of the Italian boot" - "Calabrian robbers." It is followed by an equally exciting story from the times of the Great French Revolution - “Red Rose”, written brightly and dynamically, with absolute immersion in the era. General Dumas himself, the writer’s father, even appears in it. The frantic intensity of passions will subside slightly in the novel “Parisians and Provincials”. But, despite a fair portion of living humor, it also has enough intrigues and unexpected turns of the plot (Dumas is Dumas). Part of the events of this amazing story takes place in the vicinity of the town of Weller-Kotra, where the youth of the author of the “three musketeers” was held.
