Dagon, Ktulhu, Yog-Sotot and many other dark deities invented by Howard Lovecraft in the 1920s later gained such popularity that hundreds of fiction creators, including Nile Gaiman and Stephen King, still continue to expand his mythology. Each monstrous deity in the Lovecraft Pantheon personifies one of the countless faces of chaos. Those in the depths of the ocean or in the depths of impenetrable forests, sleeping in the Egyptian pyramids or walled up in mountain caves that appeared on our planet from stars or from the abyss of innumerable centuries, they are invariably hostile to humanity and are not subject to reason. And the only thing that remains a person is to avoid a clash with these mysterious creatures in every possible way and stay on his guard.
