The publication of the third volume completes the publication of Capital Carl Marx. The reader will have a discussion of problems that are relevant for modern science: production theory, rent and profit, market concepts and crises in the context of capitalism, formulation and justification of the law of trends of profit norm, a number of interesting considerations of Marx on capitalist competition.

When working on the publication, the experience of both classic Soviet publications and the last German publication as part of the International MEGA project was taken into account. The text of the III volume is published with an updated translation of a number of places and comments cleansed of the tendential assessments of the previous years. The application publishes fragments from the “theories of surplus value” devoted to the analysis of the theories of rent and production costs of D. Ricardo, as well as the chapter fragment of the chapter from the “Grindrissa” corresponding to the problems of the 3rd volume. The text of the III volume is accompanied by double pagination in the fields, as well as a pointer of names specified according to the latest German publication.

The book also added separate subsections that reveal the versatility and complexity of the problematic field of the 3rd volume of “Capital”. One subsection is dedicated to the memory and work of our remarkable translator of “capital” and economist N.F. Danielson (1844-1918), who first presented the text of the III volume to the Russian public in 1896. The second subsection forms the text of 1905 an extremely little-known text of 1905. One of the deepest representatives of the then revisionism of Ed. Bernstein (1850-1932). The third subsection is compiled from the classics of quantitative interpretation of the I and III volumes of “Capital” - the translation of the original article of 1907 (with its modern comprehension) of the prominent representative of the Russian analytical tradition, statistics and economist with the world name V.I. Bortkevich (1868-1931).

for economists, sociologists, historians of economic thought, graduate students and students, as well as all the classics of economic science that are interested in the heritage.
