Archpriest John (Ivan Nikolaevich Bukharev; 1836–1912) was a spiritual writer, a teacher in Moscow schools and a popularizer of the Orthodox faith. His works were designed for a wide audience, even for children.

In the “Catychism teaching” answers to the most important questions about God and everything that surrounds him: about sacred books, about the symbols of faith, about the prayers of the Lord , about the commandments and faith in general.
