The book explores the channels of the global crisis on Central and Eastern Europe and the damage caused to the region. In addition, the features, restrictions and effectiveness of national anti -crisis policy are considered, and international support for the efforts of the countries of central and eastern Europe to overcome the consequences of the crisis is highlighted, and a prediction is given to the restoration and development of their economy. In the first part, the authors focus on the problems characteristic of the entire region or most of its countries. Regional analysis reveals the general reasons for the vulnerability of the economy to external shocks, but masks the nature and scale of the consequences of the global crisis, as well as answers to it in countries with various fundamental economic characteristics. The authors turn to these issues in the second part of the monograph.
