The monograph is devoted to the study of the policy of Turkey and Iran in Central Asia from 1991 to 2021. The conceptual foundations of the foreign policy activity of these states in the Central Asian region were analyzed. The main directions of bilateral cooperation between Turkey and the countries of Central Asia, between Iran and the countries of the region are considered. Much attention was paid to the study of multilateral aspects of cooperation between Turkey and the countries of Central Asia as part of the organization of Turkic states, as well as between Iran and the countries of the region as part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. A special place in the monograph is occupied by the implementation of the policy of “soft power” of Turkey and Iran in the countries of the region.
