Igor Vishnevetsky was born in 1964 in Rostov-on-Don. Since 1981, he studied, lived and worked in Moscow, since 1992 - mainly in the USA. The first printed publication of verses in “Russian Thought” (Paris, 1990). Collections of poems: “Poems” (1992), “Triple Vision” (1997), “Air Mail” (2001), “to the west of the Sun” (2006), “Highlights” (2008), “Poems” (2008). Books of prose: “Leningrad” (2012), the collection “Inexperienced affinity” (2018). Laureate of the Nose Prizes (2011) and the New World magazine (2010, twice in 2017, 2020). The author of three monographic research: about Andrei Bely, composers of the 1920-1930s, Sergey Prokofiev. Director of the experimental film "Leningrad" (2014). Lives in Pittsburgh.
