" Based on family memories, calling many prototypes of his characters, Tolstoy still writes not an autobiography and not memoirs. He is interested in the universals of human life, but the universal could only be found by looking into himself. “Childhood”, “adolescence”, “youth” - works rather autopsychological than autobiographical ”(L.
