This book contains legends about the origin of the main Chinese holidays. How are the Chinese New Year and the terrible monster of the nan are connected? How was the festival of lanterns born? Why is it customary to launch air snakes on the day of the deceased? And, of course, as in all fairy tales, there will be a place for battles, cunning, fidelity and love.
Chinese tales are supplemented by scientific comments by the synologist Sergei Dmitriev and a separate chapter with recipes and master classes.
