The monograph is devoted to the problem of chronic thromboembolic lung hypertension - a rare severe form of pulmonary hypertension. The presence of a thrombotic substrate in the pulmonary arteries of the elastic type determines the key role of surgical treatment, which allows most patients to achieve complete regression of pulmonary hypertension.
