The monograph is devoted to the problem of chronic thromboembolic lung hypertension - a rare severe form of pulmonary hypertension. The presence of a thrombotic substrate in the pulmonary arteries of the elastic type determines the key role of surgical treatment, which allows most patients to achieve complete regression of pulmonary hypertension. To optimize the diagnosis and determination of the operationalness of patients, a modern algorithm is proposed, which includes mandatory and additional examination methods.
