Circulating tumor cells: characteristics, clinical and prognostic value for breast cancer. Shlyakhtunov E.A.

The monograph summarizes modern data on circulating tumor cells with breast cancer. In the work, the mechanisms of metastasis are revealed in detail, taking into account the characteristics of circulating and dissected tumor cells, their proteoma and transcription. Modern methods of searching, secretion and identification of circulating tumor cells are also set out. The monograph presents its own results of fundamental studies of the molecular genetic characteristics of circulating tumor cells, including microrm. In scientific work, the experience of clinical use and the values ​​of circulating tumor cells were set out at the stages of special treatment of resectable breast cancer in order to monitor and control the effectiveness of antitumor therapy, and the prognostic and predictive significance of pathological cells was evaluated. New methods of diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer are proposed, taking into account circulating tumor cells with justification of economic efficiency.
