Classical Japanese poetry

The publication of such a voluminous and richly illustrated collection (poetry of the IX -XIX centuries in the translations of the beginning of the twentieth century) is an event in cultural life. The book includes: a collection of classic tanks of the 13th century (“One hundred poems of a hundred poets”), anthology “Manjoyu” (“Collection of Miriades of the petals”), “Kokinvakasyu” (“Old and New Songs”), Japanese lyrics of the XII-XIX centuries, poems Matsuo Basyo and the poets of his school. The publication is complemented by numerous applications (essays, notes, signs, bibliography).
