Doris Lessing (b. 1919) is one of the most prominent writers of our time, laureate of many prestigious international awards. Lessing creativity is truly multifaceted, among her works, works belonging to a variety of genres: from anti -colonial novels to philosophical fiction. In 2007, Doris Lessing BIII was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature "For the executed skepticism, passion and visionary power to comprehend the experience of women." The most significant works in her work include the novels “Golden Notebook”, “The grass sings”, “Memories of the survivor” and, of course, “crevice”. The Roman senator devoted the recent years of his life to the study of history. He found an old manuscript in the archives, which tells about the life of an ancient female community that existed in the coastal strip of Eden. The women of this community did not know men and did not need them at all. The childbirth was controlled by the lunar cycle, they gave birth exclusively to girls. And now the unexpected birth of a strange child - a boy - threatens to destroy the harmony of their existence...
