Clinical recommendations for patients with ischemic stroke and transient ischemic attacks
Cerebrovascular diseases is one of the leading causes of mortality and disability in the Russian Federation. Cerebral stroke takes second place in terms of death frequency from blood circulation system diseases in the country. The annual mortality from a stroke in Russia is one of the highest in the world (175 cases per 100 thousand people per year). The share of acute cerebrovascular accident (ONMK) in the structure of total mortality in our country is 21.4%. The early 30-day mortality after a stroke is 34.6%, and about 50% of patients die during the year, i.e. Every second is sick.
