"Close thieves", "flash language" and other cryptographic studies. D’Ors Grase

In the book of the French writer, archaeologist, researcher of the art of the Middle Ages, Grace d'Ors made an attempt to interpret the secret language of archaeological finds and works of art. The two books that aroused great interest to Grase are Gargantua and Pantagruel Francois Rabelais and “hypnerotomachia”, or “Polyphil’s dream” of the Francesco column. An attempt to decipher the true meaning of these texts and engravings indicating historical figures, the actions and motives of which are encoded by the secret language of artists and kernels - constitutes the central part of this book.
