Paul Verlaine (1844-1896)-an outstanding French poet of the 19th century, one of the founders of literary impressionism and symbolism. In this publication, Verlaine is presented in the translations of large Russian poets of the Silver Age: V. Bryusov, TIN. Annensky, F. Sologuba, B. Pasternak and others. The book opens up by the preface by M. Voloshin and ends with the critical-biographical essay by V. Bryusov.
The real edition included selected poems from the twelve books of Verlene Fields. Information about the translation activity of Russian poets, whose works are presented on these pages, are given. The book contains illustrations, equipped with vast notes of the compiler and is addressed to a wide range of readers.
