This publication is the captain Valentin Mikhailovich Kulchitsky (1881-1942) “Tips to the Young Officer” written during the Russo-Japanese War. They summarized the rules of conduct of the officer of the Russian Imperial Army developed over the years. “Tips for a young officer” quickly began to be popular, they began to be called the “Code of Honor of the Russian Officer”.

the tips given in this book did not lose their significance at the present time. They can serve as a good means of self -education for both military personnel and civilian people.
