This therapeutic guide is written for psychotherapists specializing in bipolar disorder. The program divided into four stages and the program consisting of 30 sessions is used together with pharmacotherapy and aimed at softening the patients depressed episodes, the formation of a support group from family and friends, the solution of the most important problems not related to problems and improve well -being. The program is based on the principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy and includes cognitive restructuring skills and problems solving, mood diary and activity schedule. Its main goal is to draw up a therapeutic contract that will inform the team of psychotherapists and the patient support group on how to recognize possible periods of the disease and what strategies to use to provide him with help during these periods.
