The book offered to your attention is a collection of brief conversations for every day of the church, that is, the liturgical, calendar of 2019. This means that the topics of these conversations were not elected by me, but in accordance with the significance of a particular date, which, according to our charter of the service, corresponds to reading certain fragments from the Holy Scriptures, liturgical hymns (liturgical chants) and prayers.

The decisive factor in choosing the topic of the day for me was the content of one of his liturgical readings. At the same time, of course, I tried to take into account both the liturgical significance of a day or another and the degree of its importance in a number of other days. Therefore, at the next stage of choice, the topics for conversations were given to the dates of great holidays, as well as the days of memory of the great saints. In addition, I supplemented some conversations with small articles of the reference nature, in which the most important terms and concepts from the field of liturgics, asceticisms, soteriology, general theology and other special disciplines are presented and explained. To include all the data that is given in our liturgical calendars, as this would significantly increase both the size of each new article and the total volume of the collection. Of the several liturgical readings of a day or another for the topic of the conversation, I most often chose one, rarely - two (links are indicated under the name of the novels) and tried that my conversation be also sensible, that is, explained the essence and meaning of the sacred text, and in The same time is brief. I also sought not only to interpret the text (to explain what is written and how to understand this) but also to show its relevance (why is it written and whether this is attitude to us today).
