Comparative biographies for the young. Plutarch

The outstanding philosopher, writer and public figure Plutarch (c. 5o - c. 12o) is the author of many scientific works. More than half of them have not come to our time. One of the books that have survived, “Comparative Biographies” is a collection of biographies of famous commanders and statesmen of Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome.

This edition presents eleven of fifty biographies of the most famous figures of the ancient world, whose names are forever remained in world history.
