Confession of the "inferior" person. Dadzai Osamu
The confession of the “inferior” person is perhaps the most famous work of Daja Osamu, one of the greatest Japanese writers of the New Age, written in the genre of “Vatakusi -Sesets” (“Roman about yourself”). It is believed that this text is a peculiar autobiography of the writer, in which he tells not about the ups and downs of his life path, but about the painful wanderings of his ego. The epithet "inferior" is not in vain taken into quotation marks. Spiritual vivisection, which the main character of the story subjected to himself, unexpectedly highlights both the deceit of the surrounding society and the ability of “full -fledged” people to lie, not afraid to lie, not afraid of the consequences. The hero’s innocent confidence in his inferiority as it reads becomes less and less convincing for the reader.
