Confession of the "inferior" person. Osamu D.
“Confession of the“ inferior ”person” is perhaps the most famous work of Dazay Osamu, one of the greatest Japanese writers of the New Age. It is believed that this story is a peculiar autobiography of the writer, in which he tells not about the ups and downs of his life path, but about the painful wanderings of his ego.
The epithet “Infutable” is not in vain in the quotes. The spiritual vivisection, which the main character of the story subjected himself, unexpectedly highlights both the deceit of the surrounding society, and the ability of “full -fledged” people to lie, not afraid to lie, not afraid of the consequences. The hero’s innocent confidence in his inferiority as it reads becomes less and less convincing for the reader.
Dazhami drawings are used in the cover design.
